Here we are again. Another new update. Another new post. Sorry about the technical difficulties on the last one. I was having a little bit of trouble making the transition to the format here. I prefer html to whatever you guys do. Hope NSider gets up again soon.
So we finally get the WiFi update. I must say I'm a little dissappointed, yet I sorta expected it. Still the same old Friends only mode. I guess that is just the way Nintendo does things.
The chatting was neatly implemented with the taunts that I can't say I'm not bummed there is no voice chat. Again, expected but w/e.
Yet again mother Nintendo is protecting us from chatting with strangers so yet again I will have no one to talk to. I guess I will finally have to break down and share my Wii code somewhere. I just wished that that could be reserved for real friends and there could be a roster for people say you meet randomly.

sad. Again expected. Someone somewhere leaked pretty much all of this info beforehand so nothing groundbreaking here. I am still dissappointed. One of my primary reasons for wanting online is so that I could train with people my ability and then get better. With completely random battles, no training. I might face someone way better, maybe worse. I JUST WANT TO BE ABLE TO TRAIN!!!The one unexpected thing is prettty neat though. Training while you are waiting. That was definately a flaw in other online games. Waiting with nothing to do. Just watching challengers appear and dissappear and reappear. Now we can do something other than blankly stare at the screen.
To end on a positive note it got it's own section under game modes. We can probably expect more info about WiFi in the weeks to comes. And that means... He hasn't told us everything yet. Here too some good surprises.
