Hey everyone!
I'm a fox main from Canada. I've been playing fox seriously for a while now, but I have a couple of questions about some of his hit boxes. In particular, his nair. Is the strong hit of the nair on his foot? Or closer to his body?

That's not how Nair works it's the active hit frames. first couple frames have high knock back aka hard and after that is soft Nair Which leads into your kill set ups because of the low hit back making tech chases accessible. The actual frames for both are in the Stickied guide you should look there it explains it very nicely.

You should have asked in the general discussion and Q&A thread: http://smashboards.com/threads/mission-complete-fox-discussion-thread.368875/unread, instead of posting a thread asking only about Nair.

It's timing; for this, people will say things like the clean hit or the sweet-spot for the strong hit and the late hit or the sour-spot for the weak hit. Fox's Nair starts on frame 4, but it only hits strong on frames 4-6, so you've got 3 frames - you count the startup, 4, as well - to hit with the clean hit which does 9%. After that, from frames 7-25, 19 frames, you're going to do 6%, the late hit.

For more information on Fox's moves, check here: http://smashboards.com/threads/lylat-datalink-fox-guide-and-information-thread.377121/.

I thought Nair was frame 3?

Edit* had to look at the guide and it says frame 4,
Just so use to hearing frame 3 I guess from pros in you tube videos saying it was frame 3.
But smash boards are the theorycraft pros, glad to know its a frame later then I thought it was.
