If this is allowed ( i mean by if there isn't a proper thread for this already) then I would like to make a thread that doesn't even relate to smash, but a place where players can just talk to on another about anything

I don't see a problem with it, as I recall there used to be one pinned a while back.

I'll tell you what though the Bob-omb social thread is pretty much what you are talking about. It's insanely active and the discussion there are varied as any general forum I've ever seen. It will probably be far more active than any thread in here since there is the added counting game going on underneath.
