So will we get instore demos?

What do you guys think?

Nintendo used to always pump out demos for its gcn games a month or so before the game was released and they do somewhat with the ds and wii still....like take mp3c and smg both were in my eb games around a month before they were actualy out...and they were not just demos they were the full game...so you think we will get the same treatment with brawl?

if so when do you think they will be in stores?

I would say maybe around the release of the Japaneses version of the game...cause thats like 2 weeks before the us release so its not to early since it is brawl and they dont want a lot of info out about it

I've seen the Mario Galaxy in store demo since November (its currently still there) Hopefully Brawl would replace the demo in a few weeks or something so we can all get a little taste of brawl

doubt it, with a release this big why would they let the hype seep out before feb 10

yeah.......its not a demo(SMG), its the full game...i think

According to the emulation scene, Super Mario Galaxy was the full game. However, the console it was in was triggered to reset the game every so often.

Will this happen with Brawl? With the way Brawl's menus and such work, I doubt it. However I wouldn't pass up a demo not being present. I am sure stores will put in a copy for themselves to play and unlock things as well.

Plus it'd make great business for them. Attract customers by having a demo to a game on a console they have yet to get? That's potential for sales.

who wouldnt spend hours there, its liek a free arcade lol. but yeah people would abuse it.

Yes. This is why the ISO hit the net so early (if you keep up with this sort of thing). Apparently, Nintendo does this a lot. The "demo" is a full version of the game, and most places have settings on them that reset after however long.

There was a setup at my walmart that didn't have a reset function. Someone (or some people, more likely) got up to fifty something stars before they took the station out.

The Super Mario Galaxy demo was actually the full game with a time limit imposed through the hardware. Someone stole the demo and leaked it onto the internet several weeks before release. Because of that, Brawl kiosks will probably show up a couple weeks after being released in a specific region.
