So who else feels giddy at the thought of playing as yourself in Smash Bros?

I think it's awesome but at the same time a little disheartening, it's awesome cause we get to personally punch Nintendo and other characters in the face but it's disheartening because if Kirby copies your Mii's face then I think that's gonna feel a little awkward to some people but hey, in a way we get to meet our favorite video game characters and I know fighting games have had customization options in the past so you could make yourself in those and of course Mario Kart Wii to 8 let you drive as your Mii but something feels more special about playing as yourself in Smash Bros in my opinion

I get to team up with Sonic and/or Link in team battles, I get to personally punch Jigglypuff in the face, (Nothing against Jigglypuff players I just find her to be the most boring character in the series.) I get to fight Eggrobos and Darknuts in Smash Run, I can beat the hell out of the Yellow Devil in person for giving me crap in Megaman 1.

All those dreams you used to have as a child where you yourself are meeting your favorite Nintendo character is finally happening...virtually but it's the closest we'll ever get.

When I first saw Mii Fighters at E3 2014, I was hyped! I'm excited to play as myself in Smash.

Also, that Iwata vs. Reggie trailer was so awesome. It added to the hype.

Lol I'm all for that. I thought Jigglypuff was cool, but I just don't really see the hype about her. Anyways, I'm excited about personally punching people because I can be like "it's nothing personal" when in reality it is. Haha

I tried to mod myself into Brawl multiple times. I textured myself over something I got off of KC-MM but never bothered to release it. It wasn't very good but I enjoyed pranking my friends with it.

Mii FIghters is a dream come true, since everyone can join the battle and fight with the moveset they personally customized.

I was one of those people who was hoping that Miis don't make it into the game. But now that they're in, I can say that I don't mind their inclusion. I sometimes had daydreams about myself in Smash kicking major ass, so it's pretty cool that I have the option. And Sakurai did a good job implementing them too, so I can't really complain there.
