Weekly or monthly matches against Smash players, rivalries, call-outs, entrances, and hell, even a "Money in the Bank." Someone who's champion just completed Grand Finals and gets trolled by someone cashing it in on a worn-out opponent.
Just a thought. I love wrestling, I go to the indie league in my area every month, and instead of the conventional tournament style, it could be matches, even personal matches. Or hell, stick to the tournament rules and just do all the promos, call-outs, and even gimmick matches as well (Poke Balls only, or hell in a cell where bats, beam swords, and bumpers only are on).
