So, we don't have cutscenes, and now? Do we have more place for like much more stages, or other modes, or was the Subspace space on the Wii Disk not high?

I'd like to think "Without it, Brawl would have had possibly more characters and stages but come out at the same time."Subspace just took up a ton of development time. Without it, Brawl would have come out much sooner.
This is the Wii U discussion, So it's not confirmed that there's no intro.I think the bigger issue is we don't have an Intro :O
I doubt it was because of memory limits, as there is a 'tutorial' like video on it.I highly suspect the reason we never got a proper intro or cutscene for the 3DS version was due to memory limits, since the game was already pushing the 3DS to it's limits,
The tutorial video is in game footage, not a CGI cutscene. There's a BIG difference in terms of memory between the two, trust me on that.I doubt it was because of memory limits, as there is a 'tutorial' like video on it.
The 3DS has had and can handle CGI cutscenes, That "in game footage" is a pre-recorded video. It's not acted out each time you watch it.The tutorial video is in game footage, not a CGI cutscene. There's a BIG difference in terms of memory between the two, trust me on that.
Oh, ok.The tutorial video is in game footage, not a CGI cutscene. There's a BIG difference in terms of memory between the two, trust me on that.
I'm not saying the 3DS can't handle CGI cutscenes. I'm merely saying that because Smash Bros. 3DS is already taxing the 3DS to its limit and adding CGI cutscenes would increase the overall memory of the game as well, one can safely assume that a combination of those two problems is what resulted in the game not getting a CGI intro or an intro at all. I mean, I doubt it was because they were lazy, although I'm sure most want to think it was that given how easy an answer it is but something tells me they had a specific reason for omitting a CGI intro or intro in general. And heck, I could be wrong as well. I am in no way saying that my opinion or feelings on the matter are gospel, its simply my educated guess on the matter and nothing more. The 3DS has had and can handle CGI cutscenes, That "in game footage" is a pre-recorded video. Perhaps. We'll probably never know the real reason for him not giving us at least a gameplay intro. That being said, I do strongly feel that the Wii U version will have some sort of intro, be it CGI, gameplay or both.Oh, ok.
Perhaps Sakurai could've at least made an intro just made up of gameplay?![]()
Actually, I think it is also worth mentioning the DS had CGI cutscenes as well! So i think they just forgot.I'm not saying the 3DS can't handle CGI cutscenes. That's true. Haha, yeah I suppose that could be the case. Honestly, an opening cutscene really isn't needed but it does set the mood for when you start up the game and it looks freaking cool! :3Actually, I think it is also worth mentioning the DS had CGI cutscenes as well! Brawl didn't even announce the title of the game and didn't have an original animation, I have the feeling that Sakurai just cares less about how the game is presented now even though he wanted to make Melee's intro as stunning as possible. That's true. I'm going to be honest, I don't want an intro. I'm loving the game going straight in.I think the bigger issue is we don't have an Intro :O
