I mean really Japan? Come on really? This is the sort of thing i'd see 6 months - 1 year after release.

I mean is there really any point to tier lists in general? You just pick a character you are most comfortable with and you are ready to go :/

TBH the only thing i LIKE in tier lists is when my friends who play smash call me a "Low Tier Hero", cause i usually pick low tier characters XD

Everyone already has an internal tier list in their head, that's just a publicized version based on impressions.

Heck, people had tier lists for E3 and SDCC.

All that said, I'm holding off on really listing my own analysis until I get the full version myself. Most things I've seen make it look like at least at mid-level play everyone is stronger/closer to equal.

I know, I just personally think that we should wait for a few months before we even ENTERTAIN the idea of tier lists. Like i said IMO 6 months to a year is more than ENOUGH time for people to find tech, get a solid starter tier list, then it can change once people find stuff MORE stuff in game.

I don't understand why you find it so offensive that people are making tier lists, like why does it bother you so much? Can you not ignore it? I, and assume those making them, think its an interesting way to frame discussion of the metagame and think that preserving early tier lists is a great way to chart historical community opinion as the game goes on. Of course the first tier lists won't be perfect (or probably even good) but it will be very interesting to look back on them years from now and recall what strategies people thought would be dominant.

Not really "offensive" per se, it just, well bugs me that after the second day people are already discussing tiers lists.... i dunno man its just a thought process i'll never understand. Just as it's too early for a Tier List thread, it's also too early for a thread complaining about Tier Lists.

Speculation isn't bad per se, but specifically calling any specific list/person/site/country out isn't grounds to warrant a topic. People are going to try to determine things like who is the best/worst as soon as they can.

Also don't double post.
