So, Random Wii-related Question.

So, I bought a Wii a while back that was used. Well it has a previous account on it's Wii shop. I was going to delete the account, but it says it will basically clean the entire Wii out. Does anyone know if that means my save data as well? If so, is it possible to preserve it somehow? Any help is appreciated!

I'm pretty sure you can just transfer your save data to an SD card, but don't quote me on that.
