When all of these people suddenly like to press down on their control sticks frequently, be friendly and whatnot. Some people occasionally come in a fight.

Has anyone ever encountered these people? I must admit, it is pretty fun doing that when I'm bored, but when I'm in for a fight I usually don't feel like ruining their fun, y'know? xP

I think those are Taunt Parties. They usually do anything aside from fight. I think all you can really do is just try find another room. There's a guide on these kinds of things here

*raises hand* I gotta say, I'm guilty for the crouching multiple times to signal that I want to just mess around. In fact, because "With Anyone" tends to get so laggy, it makes fighting not as fun, so I just play around and do stupid things, not caring whether I win or lose. Of course, there are times when I do want a fight, but when I see opponents not in a fighting mood, I just can't find it in me to attack them when they haven't provoked me. XD

I don't play online because my internet sucks, but I have seen them at my friends house.

Yep that tends to happen to me plenty I can't fight if they don't want to, so I mess around to for a couple of rounds then go to a team match instead.

Back when I played a lot of Halo 2 people used to do this all the time in ranked matches. It was always good fun, we'd scream and blow things up.
