Hmm, I don't think you're alone in things like this. I bought Final Fantasy Tactics for the PSP without having a PSP at the time.

Of course, I finally buckled down and bought one once Crisis Core came out. I'm sure you'll get your PS3 when another game catches your interest as well.

Eh... the PS3 has a couple promising titles coming up for it...
Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Motorstorm 2, LittleBigPlanet, HOME, FFXIII, God of War III...

It's worth the buy if you ask me.
I would've bought the entire console just for MGS4 though... lol.

MGS4 has made me want a PS3 really really bad.

The problem is, even though I have a PS2 and could simply plug that in for any game that's not completely compatible...

I can't shake the fact that I really want that 60GB model that has the near perfect backward compatibility. Probably watch craigslist and see if a good deal ever comes up.

I wish Sony would have just kept the BC capabilities of the 20 and 60 gig in the newer models. I'm sure it doesn't matter to most people, but I have tons of PS2 games and I really want a model where I don't have to deal with incompatibility issues.

Like I said, it's not even a big deal. Maybe because I hated plugging in my PS1 when I got a PS2.
