i'm actually interested in people's view on tap jump.
everyone knows it has both it's ups and downs, some top players use tap jump and others don't.
what do you do? off or on? explain why!

i personally prefer tap jump because of buffered aerials and faster OoS inputs.

Both have their pros and cons that even each other out well. It's really all down personal preference.

Most people tend to prefer tap jump off for easy utilts or they tend to accidentally jump with tap jump on. Pressing the extra butting for UpB/Usmash OoS isn't very hard.

I use tap jump on only because I've used it for years so now I'm so used to it. Being able to buffer SH aerials without remapping my buttons is a nice bonus.

I don't use it since I don't want to risk wasting a double jump. I have jump set to L (in addition to X and Y) so I can easily do up-smashes and up-B out of shield by inputting the commands + L.
