But seriusly...I still think that characters can beat others...

I'll tip my hat if my falcon beat snake and lucas can beat MKs while MK beats DDD...and so forth...so...I am still doing my own little "Tear" research to see if it top char or char beat char...

Regardless, brawl proves that tiers are truth. People lined up behind the same handful of characters in brawl, just like melee, just like 64. Its not because some magic tier list said so, its because they're the best. Thats all there is to it.

The only people who debate the existence of tiers are people who have never played something competitively before and are just recently getting into a competitive scene. There is no debate. Only people who know better and people who don't but will eventually.
