Before every storm, there is calm...
Before every Brawl, there is mayhem...
But, even the mayhem of Smash Bros. Melee will be considered calm when compared to Super Smash Bros. Brawl! That's why, in order to live up to the infinite potential Brawl will bring with it, SubZero Games will be hosting THREE Super Smash Bros. Melee Tournaments leading up to the game's release on December 3rd! The first will be held on Saturday, October 6th, 2007 at 2pm sharp! It will consist of a 1v1 and 2v2 competition! I hope to see each and every Smash fan in the vicinity attending this tourney!

Fee: $5 Door Fee, $10 Entry Fee, 2v2 $10 per person($20)
1v1 Rules:
2 out of 3 wins
Double elimination
3 out of 5 wins During Finals
4 lives
8 minute time limit

Stages picked randomly for first match. Loser picks next stage. Same stage cannot be chosen twice in a row unless the stage is chosen at random. Both players may agree on a stage to be played before each match.
Random Neutral Stages: Yoshi's Story, Fountain of Dreams, Pokemon Stadium, Battlefield, Final Destination, and Dream Land 64
Banned Stages: Icicle Mountain, Termina Bay, Flat Zone, Hyrule Temple, Venom, Brinstar Depths, Fourside, and Yoshi's Island 64
All other stages picked by the loser of the match.
2v2 Rules: Same as 1v1 Rules only Mute City and Fountain of Dreams will be added to the banned stages list for framerate issues during 4-Player bouts.
Additional Rules: Heckling players during a match will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification w/o refund.
1st place prize gets 75% of the pot and is welcome to return to the next tournament for Free
2nd place gets 25% of the pot
3rd place gets their entry fee back.
We also are in need of a few extra copies of Melee as well as a few extra Cubes, so call us at (561) 439-2111 if you have one of these that you can provide, it might net you a discount of some kind.
