when the defeated opponent is no longer battling?

why must kirby lose their ability? it was never an issue in any other PM or even any other smash game. what's the reason behind programing this in?

I've never noticed this. By the sound of it, it doesn't sound like a good thing. Perhaps if word gets out to Project M about this, they will fix it.

You'll have to explain further. I just tested it, and you don't lose your power if the opponent dies. You keep it until you decide to get rid of it or you lost a stock.

Are you talking about All-Star Versus maybe? If a character is unloaded from memory (in order to load a new one in their place), so is their copy power. That's how it worked in Brawl, it's a hardware limitation.
