Smash Rookie
Hello Peeps of Smash boards!
I do not know what to expect so the heck with it,
Nice to meet you all I am known as grasshoppeh (grass for short) and I decided it is finally time to join the boards. From what I hear it is a good community to learn and play with people and I will give it a shot! I have played smash since melee, but I am just getting back into the game series. I regard myself as a player between novice and mid level.
I am currently playing the 3DS version of super smash bros, and I joined the community to get better. Currently my mains are Kirby and Zelda being my strongest. I love Kirby because he has great combo potential with a quick punish and I absolutely love zelda's kill options. I want to learn to pick up a faster character like c.falcon, marth, etc.
Three thing I would like to know upon joining the community is,
if there is anything like a Live match making area (Like an irc, real time chat room)?
If I wanted to get better where would be the nearest place for me to lurk the forums?
Is there anything else you guys would recommend? :3

[] Learn to grab better
[] Get a better feeling of off-stage techs
[] Learn to read techs better
[] break my brawl bad habit of dodging to move and air dodging
