Not sure what happened to the other thread I made on SNK. It seems as it was erased, so I wll make a new one and hopefully will last longer and will be taken more seriously. Here is my top on which SNK characters are good candidates for Brawl. I have decided to make it smaller from last time.

Let us remember that it is possible that the thid 3rd. party character can come from SNK/Playmore, as their console the Neo Geo is now on Nintendo's Virtual Console. Making this an union of Nintendo with SNK.

1.- Kyo Kusanagi

He is SNK's mascot, so he would be the first choice to be in Brawl. The star of the King Of Fighters games, the KOF games were some of the first crossover games made in the industry; so maybe we could see Kyo making honor of what crossover video games are in a crossover videogame such as Brawl.

2.- Terry Bogard

Before Kyo, he was SNK's mascot. Also a fighter like Kyo and while part of the KOF games, he is the star of his own franchise; the Fatal Fury games.

3.- Athena Asamiya

SNK's first mascot. She has been present since the early days of the company first in her own game as goddess Athena, and later she had a game as her present self in Psycho Soldiers. She is quite popular due to her looks and was the boss as goddess Athena in SNK VS Capcom. Maybe in Brawl sjhe could be normal, goddess or both!

4.- Ryo Sakazaki

From my POV he is not a very interesting character, except that he has to be SNK's third most important character next to Kyo and Terry. He is the star of the Art of Fighting games.

5.- Mai Shiranui

She is SNK's most importan female character. As Brawl needs female characters and Mai being an iconic female, she is a good candidate.

6.- Haohmaru

He is the main character of Samurai Showdown/Spirits, another famous franchise of SNK.

7.- Fiolina Germi

She is my favorite character from the Metal Slug series, that i why I would love to see her in Brawl.

To be fair, The King of Fighters and Metal Slug are the only good things SNK has ever done aside from a few assorted puzzle games.

But yeah, fat chance. Still I´d prefer to see Terry from everyone you listed. It´s funny how Americans were protrayed like this in videogames several years ago, and nowadays we´re getting that lard sack from the PS3 Tekken.

This is just so stupid. We all know most SNK games were never on a nintendo console. Adding to that, Mature is way better than the KOF characters you listed.

There have been various SNK games throughout Nintendo's systems. Athena was on the NES; the SNES had the Fatal Fury and AOF games; there have been KOF games on the portables (GB and GBA) and now we have the Neo Geo and the VC plus there are plans to bring anthology games to the Wii.

Well I doubt Mature might have any chance to get into Brawl, but at least you mention someone.

Of course Mature doesnt have a chance. I was just saying she is much better then the characters you listed but hey thats just my opinion.:lick:

Many people dont even know what KOF or SNK is in the states (where Smashbros sells the most copies) so i doubt they would add them to the roster but then again they did include Roy and Marth.

Well indeed SNK and the KOF games are not very well known in the US. But they are very known in the rest of the world like Latin America and Europe, which could be a Brawl factor.

Well if that is so, let's hope so as I believe not only does the US have to be heard by Nintendo and Japan.

Also, I am one of those who believe that Mega Man has more chances to be in Brawl than someone from SNK, but before the news that the Neo Geo would be on the VC, it hardly crossed through my head the idea that someone from SNK could be in Brawl.

Now that SNK allowed Nintendo to have the Neo Geo on the VC, there could be something like a condition in use of an SNK console, like placing one of their characters in Brawl. Think about it, maybe Sonic was planned all the way since the Genesis was planned for the VC.
