Beeble
Smash Journeyman
This is just an extention of the egg edgehog.
THE BASICS
For those that do not know, Yoshi's up+b (egg toss) can be interupted via grabbing the edge, and can grab on either side of Yoshi. So by running at the edge then tossing an egg, Yoshi's momentum will carry him off the stage where he will grab the edge behind him.
This can also be done on various level's from the platforms near the ledge.
- Dreamland 64 - You can run off either side platform and throw an egg to grab the ledge
- Battlefield - Same as DL64
- Fountain of Dreams - Can be done when the same as DL 64 when the side platforms are high enough
- Yoshi's Story - Stand on the middle of either side platform. Drop down then immediately throw an egg while DIing towards the edge. This should cause an 'egg drop' wherein you automatically DJC from the egging input, and with the DI, you can grab the ledge.
- DK 64 - Drop and toss similar to Yoshi's Story, but the DI isn't nescessary
Brinstar - same as DK 64
- Pokemon Stadium (Fire) - The platform provided by the tree can be both ran off and dropped through
- Pokemon Stadium (Water) - You can run off the windmill
- Pokemon Stadium (Rock) - Run off the cliff on the left side
- Peaches Castle - You can run off of the small neutral platforms, drop the platforms provided by the blue switch, and drop through the red platforms
This isn't essential Yoshi info, just a supplement for edgeguard options (learn all the other stuff in Bringer's guide first). It's a good mixup vs people who know that Yoshi can grab the ledge whenever he wants when he's standing next to it.
