Before i go on and start disappointing people, this discovery isnt practical whatsoever to snake's metagame. So no, knowing this wouldnt make you a better snake but i guess its something to wonder about for Snake mainers and perhaps one day this may lead to a more indepth practiablity i guess?
Ok so i was fiddling around with Snake on training. (its what i do when im slacking when i really should be training lol) I discovered that all of Snake's taunts are not all identical.
As you all know, everyone has 3 different taunts except Snake. SUPPOSITLY.
If you look carefully at how snake positions himself when wiping out that box, you'll notice that he doesnt sit the same way depending on which taunt you do, and the SPEED at which he pulls out his box is quite different.
Uptaunt = Snake QUICKLY pulls out his box. Besides the frame difference, he's sitting with both knees together and both hands weilding the box.
SideTaunt = Snake pulls out the box slowly but is sitting more "relaxed". This time, he unveils the box with only one hand, and with the other hand rested. You can see the hand easier if Snake is facing right. You'll also notice that one of his legs are relaxed as well.
DownTaunt = looks almost the same as uptaunt except Snake pull out the box sorta from thin air with both his hands up. Sits the same with both knees together.
NOW. why do we need to know this? Why WonderboyKevin, why would we care?
Well to tell you the truth, i thought it was an interesting thing to know if you main and love snake like i do. THE ONLY PRACTICAL use i see in knowing the difference in all of his taunts is when you want to use his box as an edgeguard. Even though it's slightly noticable, the quicker you can pull out the box, the sooner you can drop it on your opponent. THAT'S ALL I CAN THINK OF.
anywho, here's the part where i say im sorry if people already know this >_>
happy brawling you guys.
