Sakurai already said Snake would be unlockable because he's a guest character. And anyway, I doubt Sakurai would reveal how to unlock a certain character. I'm just thinking he won't do that.

That one possibility that they took it down because it mentioned Classic Mode could be possible, or it could just be fake. Really, I don't know.

Also, I would like to point out that Sakurai if he reveals an unlockable, that he will reveal how they are unlocked since he knows what the internet is and he isn't stupid. (Read the e-mail responses thread.)

On topic: Someone on the comments said that three of the screenshots are from the trailers and the one with yoshi is a pic of yoshi from footstool jump.

****. If this is a spoof, people have way too much time on their hands. Of course, none of it is unbelievable, although it's debatable whether Sakurai would give away the method to unlocking a character, rather than letting the internet (Smashboards) take care of it.

I really hope that Sakurai doesn't tell us how to unlock people. It ruins the fun for me, saves a whole lot of time though. Now one of the first things i'm going to do now is beat classic on hard to see if this is the truth.

Of course it would be the same time otherwise he'd be seeing a future update. I figure that what he is trying to say is that he saw this update the same time as the kid icarus one. I don't believe it though
