Snakes Grenades

Im a fox mainer, and ive been experiencing some weird stuff with snakes grenades. My bro usually does the normal gernade then shield right when im going to attack him , so i hit the grenade. Ive noticed a few things with it too. Once in awhile, I throw the grenade at him, but then when its going towards him, the grenade just stops and drops in the middle. Its like making half range of what i throw the grenade. Ive also had a grenade spin like crazy and went in a oval shape direction when i threw it. Anyone know the physics of the grenade?

What he is doing to make it stop and drop is most likely "grenade stripping". Its a technique that Snake can do to make 'nades fall whenever he pleases. There's a thread around here that explains it along with a video, you should check it out. I can't explain the other things though.
