Here's a good question! Should Solid Snake even be in Brawl? I mean, hes cool and all, but his games are in a totally different league! Does anyone else have a say?

I don't see any problem with Snake being in. Only the most irrational purist would have a problem, IMO.

It doesn't matter whether he should be in or not... he is in the game, and now we have to deal with it.

But we can beat the people who think different than us with sticks.

You're just subconsciously thinking of him as too much of a playstation representative to appear. Though, if, randomly, Joanna Dark or James Bond (similar characters and stars on Nintendo) had showed up in Smash, I think I'd still feel weird cause they're basically all regular humans...

Except for the cutscenes in Twin Snakes, which are disgusting.

Lol. Even though he is already in, it's always good to talk about it. I personally feel that its cool 'cuz I like the Metal Gear series, but for those who don't like the fact that he's in, I would like them to say so. I like to hear others opinions and its not too late for me. I'm new to forums so I got alot of catching up to do...

FYI Vagrant, Snake started on the NES. Look it up. I'm sure you'll see!

Oh, I'm well aware that Snake was originally on NES. Famicom, actually. But same same.

But these days he's become an icon for the Playstation, even with Twin Snakes, Substance and Subsistence getting multi-console releases. It's the fact that Snake's been such a big thing for the Playstation for the past eight years that weirds a few people out, I think. It's not like Sonic, whose parent consoles died a painful death.

My point about Joanna Dark and James Bond still stand. These characters seem slightly too real to be in Smash, but I love the idea. I think it'll make a huge change.
