Smashville without time-stage dependency?

So I've been wondering. Has anyone managed to mod the stages/code so that Smashville doesn't depend on the Wii's clock anymore?

I'd rather have random Smashville stages (e.g. night stages can randomly be played in the morning/afternoon). I've tried the Alternate Stage Loader before but had no luck with it (it doesn't affect the day/night lighting).

I don't know about getting it to randomly change between stages, but you could always just replace the different stage files with three (or however many it is, I forget) copies of one version of it so it's always nighttime or something like that.

This might sound a little bit complicated, but this is the easiest way I can explain it.

Smashville has 5 files that get loaded depending on the time of the day. All of the files are completely identical. The sky and cloud images are in greyscale and use a certain set of RGB color values from the files that control the stage's lighting. Each file contains different RGB values for the different colors of the sky for the times of day. Daytime has a light blue, afternoon has a pinkish orange, night time has a darker blue, etc.

If you translate the words of these files from Japanese to English, they roughly translate to:

Asa = Morning
Hiru = Daytime
Yuugata = I don't know the exact word, but I know that it's afternoon/sunset
Yoru = Night
Shinya = Midnight

If you want to change the stage to be just one time of the day all of the time (night time for example) you need to export the "Yoru" lighting file and replace the other 4 lighting files with it, and then save the stage as "STGVILLAGE_00.pac". Then just make a copy of that stage four more times and name them all "STGVILLAGE_01.pac" through "STGVILLAGE_04.pac".

Now you have a Smashville that has a frozen time of day.
