SmashLadder help...

Hey guys I just joined smashladder and I'm not too sure how it works :/ Please help I'm really confused!!! So I like signed in and all put down my location, selected wifi U etc. I went to ladder's chat room and I couldn't understand what to do.
Also I assume they track your rank thingy by your NNID right? Plus how do you fight someone do you have to friend them and all that stuff or what?

Go to Chat. On the right you should see two sections: One that says Friendlies and one that says Ranked. You might see some people's names. If you want to play them, click on the smash emblem. Alternatively, you can create your matches and wait for someone to join and then you accept. An interface should open up with their NNID and the rest should be self explanatory. Happy Smashing!
