Hey guys so Ive been playing ina few tourneys and theve been fun but its just not enough for me so i was thinking of comming up with a network of players that would be willing to bet cryptocoin called DogeCoin on a per match basis.

example would be you challenge me placing 100 dogecoins on the line with a rough value of 20 cents USD last time i checked and if u won Id transfer 100 dogecoins to your wallet. I know not many are familiar with crypto currency but i would make a new thread i. the appropiate place with guide on how to create a wallet get started with dige coins and hiw to go about challenging others willing to bet dogecoins but before I put the effort in I was wondering what you guys thought?

just so your aware you are able to exchange dogecoins for money or other cryptocurrencey just like u would Bitcoins. the value of each dogecoin is around .002 cents and there are ways to get free dogecoins u can visit faucets that give out free dogecoins every 12 hours or so or u can mine for them which i would post a link in the guide on how to do so. theres also the lazy way which is to just buy them via an exchange market. I think this would be a fun way to give value to your smash skills without have to do tourneys

Ive been thinking of different ways to establish a network of players and i think i would start out making a thread of players with thier gmails so we can communicate via hangouts. any suggestions are welcome

Id like to hear your guys thoughts on this and was wondering if anyone wanted to help set it up? if theres around 10 or more people willing to bet dogecoins Id start right away.

Let me know what yall think

Asides not knowing anything about dogecoin, I've seen plenty of experiences online which people gamble (I don't want to say "illegitimately", but it's not officially recognized by any system) and, upon losing, refuse to pay/"run away"/break contact/etc. I realize gambling anything of actual value can create a more intense and exciting environment but if it's too easy for someone to cut out I'd say don't do it.

I thought about that and thats why if i were to establish a network by mabye a website where u sign up and challenge other people with flexibility like maybe a mobile website or an android app I would like to implement a black list of users that refuse to pay so that you get flagged and would be able to join in on the fun im sure there better ways of doing it but im positive there would be a way of filtering out the "*****" as for the official aspect i think everything has to start underground then mabye if it kicks off months or even years from now i believe it could become official with enough popularity. I mean look how melee became a official esport hosting tournaments it started out underground in someones house with a few friends. so thats why i just wanted to know what u guys thought. if u would be interested or if you think its not something applicable

The best option would be a middleman system.

Rules would be simple;
- Contact each other and discuss match rules and wagers.
- Pass information and transfer wagers to middleman.
- Middleman hosts the match and SDs at the start.
- Middleman transfers coins to the winner.

If it takes off, an automated system may be more desirable. Players fill in a list of options and match rules, transfer their wagers to the system, and play. After the match, fill in whether you won or lost, and the system transfers coins to the winner.
This would require a bunch of rules and regulations though, to avoid/accurately resolve cases where both players claim they won, but it wouldn't be too difficult;
Have players fill in their 3DS date settings and what char/color they'll play as. If both players claim they won, wagers are returned (unless video proof is provided, which will be reviewed by an admin). As long as video proof shows the home screen (date), latest replays list (showing date/players/chars/colors), and the full match (further confirming players/chars/colors), it's next to impossible to falsify it as long as players take necessary precautions (ie use different chars/colors if you fight the same person multiple times on the same day).
