Well, as we all know, Zook was a failed CAP in most regards. The sprites are bad (someone help.... please?), and Multitype is impossible to recode to our whims to function as planned.
Now, this thread is for submitting ideas for tweaking Zook to fix his issues.

Now, this thread is for putting out suggestions for fixing up Zook. So, we'll all throw out ideas, then have a poll on them in the end (unless a decision is unanimously made within the thread).
I'll put out my suggestions first. Zook has a few problems, but type isn't one of them. Quite frankly, Normal/Ghost is decent typing, and even with bad STABs, boasting such a high attacking stat is certainly balancing... especially with Adaptability boosting the STABs even higher. It lets Zook hit hard like he was designed for, while keeping him signature Normal/Ghost typing. I was thinking about having a secondary ability of Levitate, but it certainly isn't necessary.
Now, those horrendous, HORRENDOUS stats. Those need to be fixed for no longer having freedom of type.
Stats: 105 / 55 / 80 / 140 / 90 / 85 | BST: 555
This buffs Zook's Defense and speed to acceptable levels, and keeps his huge SpA stat, while not hitting a stat total that is more of legendaries.
Also, without STAB ever happening, Vacuum Wave is now more acceptable even with the monstrous SpA stat, so I say that can safely be put into the movepool.
If anyone else feels like arguing against or agreeing with my suggestions, go ahead. If anyone wants to present their own idea, go ahead.
The goal is to make Zook viable. We will.
