Smashbroa online a bad idea?

Ever since smashbros become online capable
My appreciation for the game has taken a nose dive

I just played 20 games in a row just to be littered with lag
even though I quit and rejoined a new group everytime


What is your opinion of online for smashbros?
Personally I think if they cant get it right then they shouldnt do it at all but I dunno maybe its just me?

Try 1v1, I find they are about as lag free as a fighting game can get.
