Smashboard post was taken down (I think..?)

I was recently creating a website for my Smash community I've been working on. Before I was going to add a description for the community I realized I made a Smashboard post that had a fairly good description I could just copy to the site. When I logged in, I searched for the post (it was in this forum thread) and I realized it wasn't there. So I went to my history, and I found the URL (http://smashboards.com/threads/smash-tk-discord-smash-bros-community.437888/) and it told me there was an error, and I don't have permission to view the post.

Note that I haven't viewed this post in quite some time. It was a small promotion to the community.

Is there a reason why it was taken down? Also note I don't have any notifications at all that tell me the post was removed or anything like that, so can anyone help me understand so I don't make a similar mistake again? Thanks !

You're not allowed to advertise your websites here. Every profile has a spot where you can put your website url, which is all that's allowed at best.

Making a post/thread dedicated to solely advertising a site is against the Forum Rules. It's basically soliciting, which is to come into an area with the sole purpose of advertising. Obviously there's a huge difference between a spambot and a human being who wants to show off something cool they made. Regardless, that's why it was removed.
