Smash4 - Melee character smilarities?

I want to do some kind of preparation for SSB 4 Wii U, and I'm not getting the 3DS version. What I'm wondering is which characters in Smash4 feel most similar to their Melee incarnations? I figure if I can at least stay familiar with the Gamecube button set-up and play a character that feels at least somewhat similar in both games, it'll help me ease into the transition to Smash4 once I finally get my hands on the game.

Probably Dr. Mario or Donkey Kong. Sheik's sort of similar. The rest range from pretty different to entirely different.
