Smash Wii U Smash Wii U Demo?

Do you guys believe we will get a Smash Wii U demo? Or was it enough with the 3DS one? As far as I know, a Bayonetta demo is out now, so demos for Wii U are there, at least.

Seeing as Nintendo is pushing demos forward with Smash 3DS and Pokemon ORAS, I could easily see them release a Wii U version demo in a few weeks.

Well... it's totally happening. I can't see why it couldn't. When was the 3ds demo released? Maybe if we count the number of days before the release of the 3ds version we can tell how much we have to wait before the Wii U demo is released.

Well, demos usually don't, simply gives you a sample of the whole experience.

Yeah... I can still see myself enjoying it with a regular Pro Controller. It's just a demo, after all. It's not meant to be competitive... not yet.

The 3DS demo was released a couple weeks before the full version came out. With that reasoning, I can see the Wii U demo happening within 2 weeks before release at the earliest.

I wonder if the playable characters on the 3DS demo is going to be the same in the Wii U demo..

Interesting enough, the 3DS demo was out a few days before Japan's release in Japan while US/EU got it weeks before their respective release. They likely gave us the demo weeks before US/EU release because they wanted to be generous and not make us feel too jealous ... or something similar to that

I can sort of see the Wii U demo coming out a few days before the US release, and then the EU/JP demo coming out a week before their release. (The gap is much shorter it seems, so maybe the EU/JP demo can come out on the same week as US release?)

I'd love a demo. While I'm currently planning on getting the bundle, the Wii U Pro controller is working great for Hyrule Warriors, so the demo would let me see if it will work well for Smash too. Plus, any excuse to see Smash in HD early is totally worth it.

I don't get this logic. The 3DS is by no means just a Smash 4 demo. It's a fully fledged mobile adaptation of Smash. It has the same 49 characters, has 34 stages, an online mode, some single player modes, collectibles, and decent graphics. I understand the Wii U will likely be more robust but to say the 3DS version is just a "demo" undermines what effort went into it.

Actually the WiiU version is just a HD version of the 3DS version. The WIiU version is weaker than it should be because 3DS.

How though? Just by looking at the main character...and the beautifully-designed angels, and the brutal demons, and the old-age enviroments...did I mention how Bayonetta herself looks amazing with short hair and a more blue-ish color scheme? But seriously, download the demo, it's amazing.

I can see where he's coming from, not everyone enjoys sexualized art. It's reasonable as to why some would be turn off by the game due to its sexual nature. I, myself, don't really care for that kind of stuff in games either. Although I've heard many good things about Bayonetta so I'll give it a shot too. Plus the SEGA references the games had makes me want to check it out more! It definitely looks more tasteful than that awful Senran game.

I have one final say on this matter: I don't have much of an issue with ZSS's design in this game outside of a few things, but that's a rant for another day. If you really want to talk about this, we'll bring it to PMs if you'd like.

To be honest, I'm not really bothered by Bayonetta herself either. Her fanservice is more tongue in cheek and satire.

I don't even mind sexualized characters

Bayonetta is just horribly ugly with gross proportions

The art style they used, for example, gives her longer legs proportionally to the rest of her body and that's just part of the reason she looks freaky
