I think the whole costume thing is useless other than to differentiate. Why doesn't the character's powers change for the costume? For example: Mario Paper Mario FLUDD Mario Shadow Mario

Luigi Paper Luigi Vacuum Luigi...ect.

Mr. L from Super Paper Mario. That'd be so fun. Just the suit, not the art style.

well the paper characters and the machine ones would differenciate to much from the original design, but i could definetly see dr. mario as an alt mario costume, old school wario as an alt wario costume, samus' fuzion suit, dk. jr as donkey kongs alt, stanley as G&W alt, etc...

and mr. L would pwn so hard if he was an alt luigi costume, i would never stop playing him

I just thought, why not a Super Paper Mario stage? Brobot or others can have a cameo and be a stage hazard! XD
