As you all know by now Nintendo has confirmed a hazard toggle for smash ultimate which obviously will increase the numbers of stages that will be tournament playable (A big improvement from smash 4 that just has 6 if you count dreamland ans battlefield separated) I wanted to know your thoughts about stages that may be legal in this game and the stages you would like to be legal. If you want to know about stages confirmes in the game GameXplain has 3 videos of the current stages confirmed as of right now. Links:
First video (66 stages)
Second video (9 more stages)
Third video (8 more stages)
These are my current thoughts about posible stages:
LEGAL:
Battlefield
Final Destination
Smashville
Town & City
Dreamland
Lylat Cruise
Frigate Orpheon
All of these stages are confirmed. All of these stages have been legal in all the smash games that they are in with the exception of
Frigate Orpheon but now with stage flipping being disabled this stage will pretty much be legal as we saw in the match of ZeRo vs MKLeo.
Lylat Cruise on the other hand is legal in most tournaments but has some detractors that argue that Lylat ledges have glitches like players going through the main plataform and some characters do not snap to the ledge when recovering. As far as we know these problems can still remain in Smash ultimate or they may have been fixed.
