while the main tournament is in session. The price of the doubles will be $8.

Round robin tournament each month, with a winner's tournament in May 5th. First place gets a cash prize, Second receives 2 carmike passes, and Third gets a $10 giftcard. Prizes will be awarded after the tournament in May 5th.
Eliminated participants will then have the option (for fun) to play other games possibly set up (Halo, Tekken, Mortal Komat, etc).

(Drinks, popcorn) will be included with price of admission.

*Tournament will be held in the Student Union building at LCCC!

Additional Rules:
Customs: Not allowed, cannot be transferred by 3DS.

Stage Striking: The player with port priority strikes one stage from the Starters list. Then the other player strikes one stage and the remaining stage is used for the first match.

David's Stupid Rule: A player may not pick any stage they previously won on during the set unless agreed upon by the other player.

Stage Bans: During the stage ban phase, the player who won the previous game may ban 2 stages from either the Starters or Counterpicks lists.

Self-Destruct Moves: If a match ends with the successful use of a characters self-destruct move, the player that initiated the self destruct move wins the match regardless of what the results screen states. Self-destruct moves include only Ganondorf's Side-B, King Dedede's Neutral-B, Wario's Neutral-B, Kirby's Neutral-B, Bowser's Side-B, and R.O.B.'s Up-Throw.

Controllers: Players can use their GameCube controller, 3DS, or Wii U Pro Controller. BYOC

Final Destination and Omega Stages: For the purposes of banning during counterpicking, FD includes omegas and vice versa. If you ban FD, omegas are also banned and if you ban omegas, FD is also banned. David's Stupid Rule also applies. If you win on an omega stage, your opponent may call David's Stupid Rule if you try and counterpick FD.
