Smash the Bug is an online tournament weekly series for Smash Ultimate, hosted by Team SMAK esports (@PGHSMAK on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Twitch, and YouTube)

This series is intended for Smash Ultimate players from Pittsburgh and the surrounding regions, including all of PA, West Virginia, Virginia, Upstate NY, and Ohio. If you could take a day trip to Pittsburgh, you're exactly the person we want to register!

This tournament will start at 7:00 PM ET Wednesday sharp, and follow standard rules for Smash Ultimate Singles, with Best of 3 matches and Best of 5 for Top 8!

Requirements to participate:

• Live in New York, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or West Virginia
• Availability Wednesday night
• Have a Discord account, and join the PGH Ultimate discord and the Team SMAK Tournament discord to get updates, communicate, and resolve disputes
• REQUIRED: use a LAN adapter. It's on the honor system as long as we don't have problems, please don't be "that" guy.

Rules are built off an edited version of the VGBC ruleset. You can see all rules here and when you start your matches. Please follow the given instructions when communicating with your match opponent.
