Smash Rookie
Hey guys, just posting here about this Friday, we will be having a usual Friday smash 4 tournament every week, it will be broadcasted and there will also be a ranking system involved. The top five will be a separate tag from the others, making it more competitive. Every tournament you go to it will give you basically a grade that will correspond to our charts that will state where you are on the two separate ladders. (The top 5 ladder, then that lower bracket ladder.)
-The points you get in the half semester long "Season" will reflect your ranking and will be reset at the end of the season. Aka half the semester.
I will also drop the rules we are planning on having here, but at the end of the post.
WE WILL START SIGNUPS AT 4:00 on this Friday, you all have 2 hour to sign up. If you want to be signed up but can't be there right away, (like running 10 minutes late, post on here and we will put you in. Just give us your name and your in game name so we can adjust properly.)
-If you have a full Wii-U setup, it would be very helpful for you to bring it. If you do not, that is fine. And if you bring it, we may only use it for friendlies. We have enough systems for a few competitive terminals I believe.

Double elimination
Best 2 out of 3
Grand finals is best 3 out of 5
Random seeding
All characters are available
No custom moves
No Amiibos
No items or equipment
2 stock, 6 minutes
In the case of a time out the person with the highest percent losses
Bring a controller!!!! If you know you don't have one OR you don't have yours, post here and maybe someone will have an extra one.
Stages
First stage choice is chosen by rock paper scissors
The person who picks the first stage bans 1 stage then the opponent bans 2 stages.
Winner of the first round bans 1 stage
STAGE RULES
Loser picks the stage. After the stage is chosen the winner of the first match chooses a character, then the loser of the first round picks a stage. Works the same for round 3.
All bans are for the match stay banned until best 2 out of 3 is over.
Neutrals are Battlefield, Final destination, Smashville, Town & City, and Dreamland.
Counter picks are Duck Hunt, Lylat Cruise, Delfino Plaza, and Castle Seige
Pauses and other rules.
Any unnecessary pauses will mean you lose the current stock you are on unless your opponent is OK with the pause.
Gentleman/Ladies agreement
If both opponents agree on a stage then any stage is allowed.
When you finish the match please report who won and if it was a 2-0 or a 2-1 to the TO (Tom).
All top 8 games will be streamed if time allows.
Suicides with Gan's Side B OR Bowser's side b
Will give a win to the person that initiated it.
NO BMing
