Here is the information about the event:
PLEASE NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK IN THE VENUE
11:00 AM: Doors Open.
11:00 AM - 12:30 PM: Setup/Friendlies.
12:15 PM - Doubles Registration Closes
12:30 PM - Doubles Begins
Singles will begin nearing the end of the doubles bracket
Also there should be a crew battle with Peterborough Vs. Durham!

Pricing:
$5 Per Person to Enter Singles
$5 Per Person in Doubles
Payout:
Singles: 1st: 60%/ 2nd 30%/ 3rd 10%
Doubles: 1st Place Team 60%/ 2nd Place Team 40%
Ruleset:
* Singles: 2 stock, 6:00 minute timer.
* Doubles: 3 stock, 8:00 minute timer.
* Items OFF.
* Custom moves are banned.
* Custom equips are banned.
* 1111 Default Mii Brawler, Swordsman and Gunner are legal characters. This is the default Mii provided by in-game.
* Transferring of Miis to the console is banned.
* Wii U DLC Characters are legal for this tournament.
Stage Strike from Neutrals for the first match of the set:
* Any form of stalling will be banned from the tournament. This applies to stalling in doubles or triples with a team mate.
First player strikes one stage.
Second player strikes two stages.

Duck Hunt
All Omega Stages are legal, however they all count as Final Destination when being picked/counterpicked.
After each match:
Winner announces stage bans (2)
Loser chooses counterpick stage
Winner chooses their character
Loser chooses their character
Additional Rules (apply to all games)
* Friendly Fire, or Team Attack, is enabled in doubles.
* Stage Clause: You cannot counterpick any stage you have won on in a set unless agreed upon by the opponent.
* Stage bans affect opponents only. Players may counterpick a stage they previously banned themselves.
* Infinites are legal up to 300%.
* Wireless controllers are banned.
* Ties after the time limit are determined by stocks, then by percentage. If both stocks and percentage are tied or both players lose their last stock simultaneously, a 1 stock 3:00 minute tiebreaker match is played.
**Some alternative calls may be made by the TO.**
