Smash scene near Taunton, MA?

Hey everyone, my brother and I are looking for people to play Melee competitively with. We're pretty new to the scene so we aren't sure how to go about meeting people. We want to find local tournaments, get better, and just meet smashers in general! We live close to Taunton and would love to play with some people over the summer.
