Pretty sure this is where I put this, correct me if I'm wrong

I'm lazy and don't want to mash up my own playlist of good smash playlists for mostly practice motivation so, what do you listen to? Any playlists you'd link someone or a certain genre get you motivated?

I usually listen to Melodic Rock/AOR (Revolution Saints, Khymera, Eclipse, numerous 80's bands, etc.), late 90s-2000s rock (Jimmy Eat World, The Strokes, Foo Fighters, Alter Bridge, Muse, etc.), or instrumental rock (Buckethead).

Hot damn alright I'll be sure to check it all out, maybe I could stuff it into a spotify playlist to jam to whenever I practice.

If none of those styles of music work out for you, feel free to explore to see what genres do. I tend to have a more aggressive playstyle so I use songs that has a higher tempo, but I know some people that play to classical, some that play to rap, some that play to newer alt, and I used to have power metal on my list. I took it off of my list though, because I seemed to be doing a lot of dumb and unsafe approaches while listening to Hammerfall and Dragonforce.

EDIT: I also find stuff that has a consistent tempo and time signature to be better for playing; that's why I don't use any Space Rock.

I LOVE UI-70 when I play music. Their soundcloud is lit up with some hot melodic rock instrumentals. Not even just rock, but some nice acoustics as well. But I also love listening to metal like Children of Bodom (they're a melodic death metal band but if you hear their guitar melodies it's insane) I also like listening to general power metal (Dragonforce, Kamelot, Nightwish).

Music Priorities
-----------------------
1. UI-70 (Sound Cloud)
2. Children of Bodom
3. General Power Metal <--- I normally just listen to this on the way to school. But it's definitely a good genre for playing fighting games and I do recommend.
