... Alright, now that I got your attention with my catchy title..
Here's my idea I wanted to toss out, feel free say my idea is dumb and call me mean things, like i know the internet likes to do.
The core idea would be a full-on smash league. Small at first while we get the ball rolling, and then bigger if it ever gets traction.
In essence everyone would play each other once or twice in the league, then they would be ranked and there would be playoffs. It would probably be free, and i'd handle most of the ranking and game organizing.
What separates this from regular smash tournaments is that each player would choose "home rules". So each time they play "at-home" they will be using their own rules giving them home field advantage. The home rules would include picking a stage (even custom) , a stock amount, a stock time limit and other minor details. There would be constraints to keep matches reasonable ( no 99 minute coin-matches, etc.. ).
Let me know what you guys think. If anyone is on board with this send me a message, otherwise i'll go back to school work and pretend this idea never happened. Constructive feedback is strongly appreciated, I got enough emotional fortitude to deal with some mean words if it means improving the idea.
