Smash in NC?

Hello everyone. I'm new to the smash boards community but I have been apart of competitive smash for about a year now. (Watching streams, reading some stuff on the forums, keeping up with people who play etc etc.)I finally decided that I would make an account and try my hand in some regional tournaments to develop my skill at melee.

That being said, are there any tournaments around Raleigh NC area or around? I'm sure there are, but how does one going about getting info on regional tournaments?

Not sure of any specific ones but the NC Project M Facebook group is a good place to start. I believe there is a melee group too, but I couldn't tell you for sure. As always, welcome!
