Smash in Corning, NY area

I only know a few smashers in this area and they're all my friends from here in Corning. I'd like to get a lot better, but I don't have anyone else to play against besides these few people and they don't smash much anymore.

So if anyone live in this area or close by and would like to smash or set up some events or something with me, we can discuss that in this thread. Maybe we can get a good group of smashers together in the area.

I'm hoping this is the right section to post this in.

not much help for local smashfests for you guys since rochester, syracuse, and ithaca are all at least an hour from you guys, unless you guys are willing to travel a bit for those

you should come to our tournies though. we havent been hosting a lot of those though, but keep an eye out

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I wanted to get a tournament organized for the end of April at a comic book shop in Elmira/Horseheads, but I think only a couple of my friends will actually show up. None of us are good because for the longest time we haven't been able to get to tournaments. I did go to a tournament when I was in CA a couple weeks ago, but now that I'm back here there's no one to smash against. I guess I'll just keep checking that thread to see when stuff comes up.
