No one is going to travel very far for this; there's no profit in it. There are really only two correct answers here. If you live in Atlantic North, it may be that a state that doesn't border yours is still within driving distance so you'd pick whichever one is closest. If you don't, the only correct answer is Hawaii. The reason is simple. Playing these demos gives you slight advantage over everyone else when the game drops since you'll have some amount of practice during time no one else could play. It's very small (very, very smal even) but non-zero. Therefore, if you can't play personally, the best move is to make sure no one else can play. Hawaii is so far away from everything else that only Hawaiins would get to play, and Hawaiins seldom make it to non-Hawaii tournaments due again to the incredible distance between Hawaii and everywhere else. Alaska was an okay choice, but it would probably be in southern Alaska and some of the Canadians from BC might be able to make the trip so it's better to go all out and pick Hawaii.
