So next week on Monday morning I'm gonna go talk to my school principal about starting a Melee club for our school. Any tips. Im open to anything.

Give good reasons for starting the club. Don't just say "we want to play video games after school". Say something like "we're using this game as an outlet for kids who aren't very social to talk to people about something they love," or if you live in a bad area, "this club would be a much better choice for some troublemaking kid who would otherwise go out and cause trouble after school. Even if we prevent one bad kid from breaking a window or something, that'd be a success."

Let me know how it goes, these are just a couple of my ideas. I'd love to get a club started in my school as well

Really well. My principal is OK with it and I just have to work out the kinks of technology and stuff like that. But anyways definitely talk to someone official. Its a great idea and go for it!

I had one at my school and it was really fun. We did legit tounaments and ruleset and we had posters of it around the school, but it was run by some cool seinors who were really cool so we got about 20-25 people each week. After they left the club left though, now everyone is to scared to start it up again :/

Dude just start it up again. As long as you have like 2 setups you got yourself a legit club.
