Smash Wii U Smash Bros SD Card Question

I'm not sure if this is where I should post this... So it can be locked if it shouldn't be posted here.

So I got a Wii U a few weeks ago and it didn't come with an SD card. Everything was fine but on Smash Wii U you need an SD card to take screenshots... So if I buy an SD card will I still have all my Smash Bros save data? Along with the save data from my other games?

The save data cannot be saved using a SD card on WiiU. Therefore they will remain on the WiiU internal storage or on an external HDD, if you have one plugged to your console.

Forcing users to save the screenshots to the SD card was a strange decision to say the least.

Yes, or if you can find just any old one lying around the house ( in a camera etc; ) then you're good. Especially awesome for photo studio, which you find by going to horde mode and pressing the photo icon on the gamepad.
