i just had this random thought. Does it feel like playing smash brothers is kind of similar to becoming a pokemon master.
in pokemon you pick your starter and in melee you pick your main . Then you take your Main(starter) and travel around to locals to battle other smashers(trainers) in hopes of improving your Main (starter) . Eventually you end up going to different tournaments (gyms) and trying to be number 1 in hopes that one day you can win the indigo plateau (EVO,Apex) We also seem to have an Elite 4 or well 5 (5 smash gods).
Its just a little thought i had for all the pokemon fans out there
