Hey I was just wondering what you guys happened to think of these gamecube replicas and if they would be a good option. They are cheaper at 25$, and my main issue with the actual GC controller is the bumpers being analog instead of digital, which makes it take time just to shield. But with this, it has triggers and bumpers, but my main issue is that it has to be wired into the Wii Controller, which bugs me. (I guess the actual has to be wired regardless) Thoughts?

Take a look: http://www.gamestop.com/wii-u/accessories/wii-u-fight-pad-controller-yoshi/115417

These were actually shown off at E3. I think they're pretty cool.
I do as well, do you have any experience using a controller that plugs into the wiimote? Is it an annoying experience? I just wish it could be wireless lol, but I mean it IS half the price of a pro controller

Nope, no experience. Hopefully it won't be a big pain.

I don't know, but since they are are wired to the Wiimote, I'm pretty sure it recognizes it as a Classic Controller.

Considering they're basically Gamecube Classic Controllers, yeaaahhh I think these are pretty cool! I think I'll pick a couple of these and a couple of the Gamecube...Gamecube Controllers once Smash Wii U drops. I already have a couple of standard CCs and GCCs, but the GCCs I have are very worn out, and a lot of the people I play with seem to prefer the GCC, so it'll be nice to have 4 GC-"ish" options for everyone to play with.

Plus they'll be cool to have in case the GC Adapter ends up only being available for Smash for some reason.

I'm just going to stick to a Gamecube controller, but I must admit these look fine (though I'll always prefer analog for tactile feedback).

I'd probably wait until other people tried them, as it's 3rd party.

Well I've been in the Brawl competitive scene since day 1 and always played with the classic controller. Yeah it has to be wired to the Wii Remote but what I do is strap it to my wrist and let the wii remote hang in there. The wiring is short and the perfect distance for reaching from the hanging wiiremote to my hands and get free room for movement and at the same time for not to be a mess.
It's an extra weight but I actually like it because of how light the classic controller is. I find myself enjoying that setup since 2008, so wiring it to the wiiremote hasn't been a problem at all.

Hope this helped you.

They look good and all, but it's 3rd party, only 25 dollars, and you have to plug it to a wiimote.
Also : gloss finish. It's a terrible thing that needs to stop.
