Taking the first letter of each category of custom parts available to Miis (Equipment, Specials, Headgear, Outfit, Powers) yields the word "eShop"...
Possible proof of DLC???
This may be them showing that maybe later you can get new headgear or items for you're Miis.

I agree 8-peacock-8, just a very awesome coincidence, though I hope for some sort of dlc in the likes of characters, stages, skins/ outfits, etc.

Might just be a quirk the localization team came up with. Unless it's also the case in the Japanese version.

More than likely a coincidence. Though, Brawl DID have a similar situation where four of Sonic's songs spelled out SEGA. So maybe it may have at least been noticed
