Now that we get to see these new attacks in action in the 5 minute trailer, it's apparent that his smash attacks (save for the stick) are incredibly horribly slow but powerful.

His up smash is probably the worst. It covers good range above his head and hits HARD, but it has such tremendous startup time and lag that I don't think it'll be worth it in 1vs1 matches.

Downsmash looks a lot more useful though. About the same speed as Mewtwo's old downsmash, but it seems like it'll be more use as an edgeguard since it looks as if it can hit 3 times.

The numbers on the top are the percentage in which the move K.O.d a Mario, if I'm not mistaken.
Yep. According to Brawl Central's translation those are his Best 3 moves, and (I think) they're not fully charged (since they list Dedede's side smash as 44% but fully charged is 17%) o_O.

Wait, who thought that the flip kick was a Smash attack? Sakurai called it Strong Up while his grounded PK barrage was called a Down Smash. Were people really that confused about it? Wow...
