Smash 64 MELEE-FC housing/rooming thread

Just got a room at the hotel, figured this thread might be of great use to those going/on the fence about going to setup housing/rooming for those interested in the Smash 64 Event at MELEE-FC. So far, its just myself for my room, but I'm sure I can fill in some spots.

The room will cost an estimated $158, as I was told by phone when making the reservation. There still may be discounted rate rooms available as of today(July 25th, 2012).

LET ME KNOW if you need housing before/after the tournament and if you would need a room while there, wether it be PM's or posts, the more info all parties have the easier everything is for those involved.

Wait I thought we were stayin at your house... is this just for nights of the tourney? Might leave book a flight tonight leaving Thursday instead of fri cuz its cheaper, more smash for less cash!

Hey Knitephox, I'm going to FC with MeowMeow and Rumbly and right now it's just us three to a room I booked. Maybe there's a way we could merge our rooms?

Seems like this event is gonna be pretty big for smash 64 how much is the hotel that your staying at KnitePhox? This will only be about a 4 hour drive for me compared to going to Apex in NJ which was about 9 hours. If I can find a good rate for a hotel or pay to room with someone I think this may be my next tournament.

Actually, on second thought, the hotel room deal of $70 a night might be over right now, and we'll fit more people in two rooms than trying to combine the two rooms into one.

I was thinking stay at my house for a day or 2 before/after or more and stay over there during the whole event. Driving 2+ hrs one way doesn't give optimal smash64 time imo.

I can probably call to see if we could have neighboring rooms. I have one TV I'm bringing specifically for the tourney and another smaller one (13" I think) that we could use in the hotel room.

Also, I just registered. This is going to be great.

Double also, Knitephox, upload my friendlies versus firo. I want to watch myself destroying that scrub *footage not found* and also some of the times I barely lost against him *hours of footage*
