Yo. Been a while since the last video. Starting Uni gobbled up my time, so I only just got this out.
Here's the video though. It covers 'Crouch sliding', a technique which slides Sheik back if she crouches back after jumping:

An interesting tech, and definitely fun to use. Try it out. I'll try and answer any questions about it, but it's still new to me even. There are others here who know stuff about it as well though.

Thanks for the video on this, I've actually been practicing it any chance I get as I think it has quite a truckload of potential.

This works for every character with a slide, although I'm sure you already know that. In a recent My Smash Corner video, it went over the application of this with Diddy's side-b as momentum. You say it's easier running, so I'm thinking this has a lot to do with momentum. That might explain the reason characters like Yoshi don't go as far.

The crossed out statement is pretty dumb, because Yoshi has the best air speed. This is an odd tech for sure. Hopefully those smarter than me can figure this out.

I'm really having trouble with the slide I just remain in the same place constantly when I jump to the right, BTW I hold the control stick diagonally back when you said hold down and back when sheik lands is that wrong or have I messed up the timing?

You have to slide the stick diagonally back right as you land as fast as possible. The input is as follows as you land (assuming facing/jumping right) :GCR::GCDR::GCD::GCDL: and then release to neutral. I assume you're doing it on a sloped platform to make it easier as well right?

Not a required input but it makes it easier to pull off the actually input because all you have to do is slide your thumb down and around. And yeah I'd recommend making a sloped custom stage and practicing it on that, slopes make it easier to pull off/notice. Or just go to lylat as the whole stage tilts for you lol.

On the original post about this, I posted a picture of me sliding a lot further than usual with this. I don't know just what I did, but it was really, really awesome. We need to focus on testing how the different inputs affect slide distance, such as how long you crawl before releasing the stick or which attacks you use with it.
